Barry Brennan and CapF9 are delighted to announce that Conor Kilgallen will be joining the team as an intern as we face a busy and exciting period ahead over the coming months.
Conor has just finished his first year in college studying Economics and Finance in UCD and has a keen interest in the world of start-ups; he is incoming co-head of Ireland’s largest university start-up platform, the Irish Student Entrepreneurship Forum, which is a student-run, non-profit initiative.
Conor enjoys being outdoors in his spare time whether it be playing Gaelic football for his local club, Kilmacud Crokes, or spending time out on the golf course.
His most memorable achievement is discussing the Euro area’s interest rate decisions and monetary policy with Mario Draghi at the European Central Bank in 2018 as a result of being a national winner of the ECB’s Generation Euro Students’ Award.
We wish Conor the best of luck and look forward to working with him on some interesting projects.
Finally, many thanks to Paddy Ryder, Ella McGrane and all the team at Covid Interns for putting us in touch with Conor and making the recruiting process a whole lot easier! It is a great initiative and especially helpful to Irish SMEs during current times. Highly Recommended.
